Butternut Squash Ravioli

Sometimes, you just need a quick fix for dinner. This butternut squash ravioli is easy for toddlers to make, once they have learned how to work with heat.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons Salt
  • 1 pack Butternut squash Ravioli
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoons Green Onion
  • Herbs

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Slotted Spoon
  • Dinner Bowl

Method
 

  1. Boil 6 cups of water with 2 Tablespoons of salt in a saucepan
    6 cups water, 2 tablespoons Salt
  2. Add uncooked butternut squash ravioli to the saucepan
    1 pack Butternut squash Ravioli
  3. Let boil for 3-4 minutes (or what's listed on the package)
  4. Remove from bowl. Optionally, strain
  5. Add to dinner bowl
  6. Drizzle olive oil
    2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  7. Garnish with green onion and herbs
    1 tablespoons Green Onion, Herbs
  8. Enjoy!!!

Notes

We used the Costco Butternut squash ravioli. 
But you can also substitute with other pumpkin or squash based ravioli. The point is to make this recipe with your kids, when you want something easy, warm and also eat a proper meal with your toddlers.
